Equipped with iPads, participants can look forward to creative photo and video challenges as well as tricky puzzles that playfully promote team spirit, communication and strategic thinking. Throughout the entire rally, the teams stay connected with each other and with the game leader in real time, while interactive maps, live chat and real-time highscores create excitement and momentum.
The teams move together across a flexible digital playing field that can be used in both urban and rural environments. The tasks are based on local features and interesting facts, allowing teams to rediscover even familiar surroundings. Photo and video challenges adapt flexibly to the environment, create creative moments and keep the memories of the event alive. 13:00|Kick-off
After a warm welcome from a professional teamgeist guide, all participants are first divided into smaller groups. The starting point of the tabtour® can be chosen flexibly. This allows you to begin together at the location that best fits your schedule and supporting programme.
13:10|Technical Equipment
Each team is now provided with an iPad equipped with up-to-date software and designed for easy use. This iPad is the central element used to solve tasks and create photos and videos. The device also displays the map with challenge locations and enables communication with the operator throughout the team event.
13:15|Let’s get started!
Now the individual teams set off on the tabtour® in a city of your choice or at a special location. During their digital scavenger hunt, participants answer regionally relevant questions, complete photo and video challenges and solve entertaining puzzles. Thanks to the wide variety of tasks, each team member can contribute their individual skills and talents. In terms of content, the tabtour® offers a great deal of flexibility already during the planning phase, as company-specific content can also be integrated on request. For example, facts about your company history, visions or project-related content can be included.
14:45|During the Challenge
There is no predefined route! The individual teams coordinate among themselves which challenges to choose and complete, creating their own unique path to the final meeting point. In the competitive version, participants take part in an exciting competition that is further fuelled by the live score. The cooperative version is just as motivating – here, shared progress is visible digitally throughout the event.
15:00|Finale and Awards Ceremony
Once your employees have playfully explored the city, the teams meet at the final meeting point. The shared success is then celebrated appropriately during the awards ceremony.
The event can then come to a relaxed close at a location of your choice, for example if you are planning a meal or celebration afterwards. The shared tabtour® experience provides plenty of inspiring topics for conversation.

Two Game Variants: Competitive Challenge or Collective Goal

Competitive Variant: You want a team event with an exciting competitive atmosphere
Then the competitive mode is the right choice. Here, the individual teams compete against each other, with the goal of collecting the most points in the challenges and becoming the winning team. During the game, the teams can track both their own score and the current high scores of the other teams in real time. This creates a particularly strong sense of belonging within the individual groups.
Cooperative Variant: You want all teams to work together towards collective success
In this variant, all teams work towards a shared goal during the tabtour®, using their combined skills to solve the puzzle. This promotes communication and collaboration from team to team throughout the team event – and from tablet to tablet. In the cooperative variant, teamwork comes first. The individual teams motivate each other in order to solve the final shared challenge. We provide the complete equipment, including iPads, software and internet connection. No additional devices or preparation are required.
The duration can be designed flexibly, but typically lasts around 2 hours depending on the number of challenges and the event setup. A little extra time buffer is never a bad idea.
Yes, tabtour® can be conducted in multiple languages and is ideal for globally operating teams or international locations.
Yes, tabtour® can take place regardless of the weather. For outdoor events, however, we recommend suitable clothing, or we can adapt the event for indoor locations.
As a rule, we recommend allowing at least 4 weeks to ensure optimal planning. However, for short-notice enquiries, please contact us directly – we will find a solution!
