With a couple of ropes, strings and a few useful knots, you and your colleagues tie together a stable team web. Strong metaphors such as a “functioning network”, “international networking” or a “weight-bearing web” of cooperation can be conveyed through this fun concept in a lively and active way. What sounds really simple actually requires a lot of communication and coordination. After a short briefing into knots, material and the team task, the participants have to knot together a stable team web. Divided into smaller groups, every team first builds its own web segment. The teams need to communicate with each other, however, because the teams only work independently during the first phase of the event. During the grand finale, the individual web segments are then tied together piece by piece to form a large team web, before the finished web undergoes an “endurance test”.
