CSR Event: Social Winter Pitch

Doing good together and promoting team building

The winter season calls not only for contemplation, but also for reflection and solidarity. These months are the perfect opportunity to show gratitude to your team and give back to society at the same time.

The "Social Winter Pitch" event aims to strengthen your employees' sense of community, promote communication and teamwork, and at the same time make a positive contribution to society. The central goal? To raise a set amount for a social institution of your choice.

In interactive small groups, the participants create presentations to convey to the entire team why their chosen social institution should be the one to receive the previously defined budget. And they do this in a creative way: whether through a film, a poem, a song or a piece of art - the aim is to convince the other teams in an entertaining manner. The decision is made by a democratic vote. The winning pitch has the honor of providing the chosen institution with the financial support.

Take this opportunity for a corporate social responsibility event full of inspiration, creativity and community spirit. This event format combines charity with a sense of unity and joy.

Example program:

Event start (approx. 10 minutes)

  • Welcoming the guests and introducing the Teamgeist crew and the program

  • Team allocation (if not organised by you in advance) 

Concept & preparation phase (approx. 20 minutes)

  • Decision on pitch format (short film, lip-sync battle, theatre play, poem, song...)…)
  • Allocation of tasks in the team (research, caller, cameraman, director...)…)
  • Introduction to the film technology on the iPads and selection of props  
  • The teams familiarise themselves with the material provided and draft a script

 The creative phase (approx. 90 minutes)

  • Now it's time to realise the concept with the available resources
  • Contact the desired social institution
  • The teams shoot the "takes" and cut/edit them into their short film 
  • Submission of the films/iPads

Event finale (approx. 30 minutes)

  • Presentation of the videos & the donation beneficiary  
  • Voting for the most convincing presentation
  • Award ceremony & presentation of the donation cheque
  • End of the eventful activity
  • Farewell to the guests
