This Is What Your Highland Games Team Event Could Look Like:
12:00|Welcome and Introduction
First, the future Highlanders are warmly welcomed by our team guide and introduced to the traditional Scottish world and customs. The large team is divided into smaller clans. Through the moderation and the authentic setting, it quickly becomes clear that this will be an extraordinary day.

12:10|Become Highlanders
Now the costumes are handed out and the participants transform into true Highlanders. Fearsome face paint can also be added if desired. Each clan also designs its own coat of arms and develops an individual battle cry to strengthen team spirit and bring the group together.

12:30|Presentation of the Clans
Ceremonial Scottish sounds set the mood as all participants prepare for the presentation of the individual clans. One by one, the clans enter the arena and introduce themselves with their own coat of arms, kilts, battle cries and choreographies. The groups can hardly wait to compete against each other.

12:45|Start of the Competitions
Who will bring honour and glory to their team? In an exciting competition, the clans compete against each other across different stations in traditional disciplines – team spirit, skill and a good sense of humour are essential. In the Sheaf Toss, a hay sack is thrown as far as possible using a pitchfork. Next comes Tossing the Wellie, an entertaining long-distance throw using Wellington boots that is guaranteed to create plenty of laughter. Afterwards, it is time for Tug-o-War: in the classic tug of war, raw strength is just as important as coordination within the team. And finally, there is the tricky barrel challenge: a 300-litre barrel with 30 holes must be filled with water – only with skill and perfect teamwork can this task be mastered. Those who succeed across all disciplines not only earn points for their clan, but also honour and glory.
Additional disciplines such as competitive nail hammering, log slalom, Highland Games quiz, beer stein holding, barrel rolling, wheelbarrow racing and Highland golf can provide even more variety. We plan your challenges individually according to your wishes and the composition of your team.

14:00|Awards Ceremony
After the competitions have finished, the festive awards ceremony takes place, during which the most successful clan is crowned.
14:30|Closing Get-Together
A shared closing get-together gives everyone the opportunity to reflect on the experiences and further strengthen team cohesion. Afterwards, a joint summer party or BBQ could be planned as the ideal follow-up.

Reviews for the teamgeist Highland Games

“We were looking for an interesting supporting programme for our summer party and came across teamgeist. After receiving competent consultation, we decided on the Highland Games. A great choice! Our employees immediately immersed themselves in the world of the Highlanders, and the competitive spirit among the individual clans released a lot of energy. We had great fun with the challenges, which were designed perfectly to meet our needs! The costumes, the story and the motivating support from the teamgeist crew also made our summer party a special experience. From consultation to implementation, it was an event that captivated us all and brought us a lot of joy. We had never experienced a summer party with battle cries and cheers like this together before!”
