Building a usable catapult with limited resources and an ambitioned time limit – a really tricky task. The teams work with different materials (wooden battens, rods, strainer etc.) in order to construct a catapult that is supposed to sling the ball as far as possible. Skills, communication, attention to detail and team spirit are at the center of this event. But the event is not only something for hobby inventors and engineers, because often, simple ideas and „housewife tricks“ open the path to success.
