The catapult has a very long history. Gaius Julius Caesar already attacked his enemies with such a missile, inter alia Asterix, Obelix and their friends! Back then they had their magic potion making them unbeatable. However, it remains to be seen if a Swabian Zibärtle will help you being successful in this team event. It might be a better idea to count on creative solutions, communication and team work when you want to build your own catapult during the Catapult Building event in Stuttgart. It might not seem to be that hard in the beginning, however, with only the limited material the construction of an own slingshot certainly holds quite a challenge. Since there are no guidelines it becomes essential that you communicate and tinker with the other team members the best you can! Get to work, build your catapult with wooden slats, bars and ropes and boost your team spirit to new heights. And one hint: the easy solutions are often the most successful ones.

After all catapults have been built, the big showdown starts: Which team can catapult a ball the furthest? The winning team and all the other teams have, of course, to celebrate this fabulous day, for example with a BBQ or even with a wild boar, just like Asterix and Obelix did!
